Physics
The course's purpose is to emphasize the practical aspects of physics (science) in real life and its unique post within the realm of human knowledge. It's main objectives are:
- developing students' critical thinking, and their manipulative (searching, recording and processing data) and communication skills (presenting conclusions arrived at through cooperative learning);
- developing and applying the students' information and communication technology skills in the study of science;
- raising awareness of the moral, ethical, social, economic and environmental implications of using science and technology;
- encouraging an understanding of the relationships between scientific disciplines.
