Cultural and educational India exchange

This Thursday, 15th March, ten Septima students will leave to India for a two week cultural and educational exchange accompanied by two staff members, Mrs Jana Errington and Mr Rupert Marks. This foreign exchange is a part of a cooperation between Open Gate School and Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) in Mumbai. The trip will be split into two blocks. Firstly, students will spend a week in two rural areas where they will work on various projects to help to improve the life of the local people, such as road building, teaching English etc. Secondly, students will spend at DAIS school where they will attend their IB lessons and learn about Indian culture. The trip will be documented regularly by blogs so watch this space!
