4/11/2012 - A vernissage of Anežka Svobodová On the 11th April 2012 there will be a vernissage of the final IB Art Exhibition of Anežka Svobodová, held in the Open Gate Theater. |

3/15/2012 - Cultural and educational India exchange This Thursday, 15th March, ten Septima students will leave to India for a two week cultural and educational exchange accompanied by two staff members, Mrs Jana Errington and Mr Rupert Marks. |

1/18/2012 - Open Day Programme The public will be able to wander around the Open Gate school grounds and meet the school management on 18th January, 2012, for which day the OPEN DOOR event has been planned. |

1/14/2012 - The Skiing and Snowboarding Competition During the days from 13th to 15th January, there will be a ski and snowboard competition in Pec pod Sněžkou, where three of our students will represent our school. |

10/31/2011 - Volunteering week: 31.10. - 7. 11. 2011 Volunteering week is the highlight of the European Year of Volunteering 2011 activities. In the Czech Republic these activities will take place in the National Museum – Czech Musical Museum. |

9/15/2011 - It`s starting soon! On September 19th all the after school activities are starting. The preparation process was full of obstacles, but has ended well. The activities are already in place for keen students that cannot wait for them to start. |

9/10/2011 - OG in the PIM 10km - Again! Nine students from the Upper Gymnazium are running in the Prague International Marathon’s 5km and 10km race on Saturday evening. |

9/7/2011 - Světluška: the charity event This Wednesday, six grammar school students will take part in the 9th year of the charity event called Svetluska. |

6/25/2011 - The Master of Education (M.Ed.) course The Master of Education (M.Ed.) course conducted by Endicott College (Boston, Massachusetts) starts in OPEN GATE in June 2011. This accredited programme focused on international education incorporates several summer courses accompanied by on-line courses. |

5/10/2011 - French Spring in Open Gate May began and with it came French Spring in Open Gate. While four of our students are sitting in a bus heading for Paris, in Rostrenenu French students are packing for their stay in Prague. Yes, the student exchanges with the French are starting. |

On Sunday several months of efforts of Open Gate track team will culminate in my participation in the Volkswagen Prague Marathon. |

2/3/2011 - Third Maturita Ball On Thursday 3rd February the third “Maturita Ball” will take place in “Slovanský dům”. The ball will be organized by the oktáva students. |

2/2/2011 - „Open Gate Director´s Cup“ Tournament A tournament of eight schools in floorball is being held in our school for the fifth time. Representatives of eight schools will once more compete for the „Open Gate Director´s Cup“. |
