From 14 to 20 November, Jakub Musil and Beatriz González, two students from Open Gate, along with Milena Caba, their Spanish teacher, were in Madrid as members of a jury for an international film festival. There they acquainted themselves with friendly youths, odd adults, unforgettable films and delicious animals.

We are learning about the fluid mosaic model of the cell membrane in IB Biology at Open Gate. To cement our knowledge of the structure, we made 3-D models of the membrane with plasticine and wood skewers.
