6/21/2010 - OG students at the Olivovna Children‘s Rehabilitation Centre
The OG students taught English in the Primary School at the Olivovna Children‘s Rehabilitation Centre in Říčany every Monday since February.
5/13/2010 - OG Students at the Seniors´ Home “Pod Kavčí Skálou“
In September, at the beginning of this academic year, new OG students, from Prima, Sekunda and Tercie classes, visited the Home to introduce themselves and their musical skills.
This morning we held a mock U.K election in the senior school assembly in conjunction with the real thing, happening today 6th May 2010.

Our students were offered a great opportunity to get to know how it really works in a foreign university. On Friday, 23th April, 2010, selected students could use this unique chance to travel to Vienna and spend an Open day at Webster University.

OG has recently received a very intriguing offer concerning prestigious scientific internships under the auspices of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
12/17/2009 - Christmas swimming relay for students from OPEN GATE
24 swimming lovers were divided into 4 relays. 6 students were in every relay (prima - oktava, boys, girls).
On Tuesday the oktava students in Biology seminar were concerned with the comparison of different biological materials and their suitability for the demonstration of plasmolysis and deplasmolysis.
12/1/2009 - Our students performed brilliantly in Logical Olympiad
Two weeks ago five students of our school - Pavel Munduch, Martin Jaroš, Martin Kábrt, Zuzka Matějková a Marek Svoboda - took part in the regional round of a competition called Logical Olympiad.
12/1/2009 - Biological Tuesday afternoon
On Tuesday afternoon the Oktava Biology seminar was concerned with DNA extraction using botanical material (the seeds of Pisum sativum).
The first day in December representatives from the University of New York in Prague visited our school.
