Daniela Perekopská

French and Spanish Teacher

Having returned from France, Daniela has continued to educate herself in French (French Institute courses) as well as in Spanish and Spanish culture (DELE diploma, 2009). She took a three-month course for Spanish teachers in 2017. She is a regular at the workshops organised by Instituto Cervantes.

Daniela worked at the Czech Centre in Paris for five years from 2001, and taught French and Czech privately. Having returned to the Czech Republic in 2006, she worked as a teacher at the KGM Grammar School in Prague, teaching French and Spanish and Civic Education. She taught French at the Bubeneč Trade Academy from 2012. She has been a member of the teaching team at Open Gate since 2014.


Daniela loves singing – she sang with the Ondráš choir, in the Latin American choir Popayan, and is currently a member of Gambale. She also likes theatre, books and French and Spanish cinema, and exercises yoga.
