IB DP Economics /Business Management Teacher

Requirements:

  1. We are looking for a well-qualified Economics and Business Management Teacher Responsible to teach IBDP Economics and Business Management classes
  2. Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelors Degree with a PGCE/PGDE (QTS)
  3. A graduate in Economics or Business related degree
  4. An enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a genuine passion for teaching, who can motivate and inspire students using a variety of strategies
  5. To work and collaborate with colleagues to enrich curriculum and student learning

Candidate Competencies:

  1. Prepare and deliver classes to IBDP students on topics such as econometrics, price theory, and macroeconomics.
  2. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
  3. Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
  4. Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
  5. Keep abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.
  6. Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
  7. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
  8. Select and obtain materials and supplies such as textbooks through the school library.
  9. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials and methods of instruction.
  10. To be an active member of the pedagogical staff, supporting daily school duties including sick cover and hall monitoring.
  11. Participate in campus and community events.
