School Library Open Gate

We have 40,000 books for readers of any age. We offer non-fiction, fiction, poetry, comic books, journals and DVD’s in Czech, English and other languages taught at our school. We also have textbooks for everybody, including those needed for International Baccalaureate subjects. The library is open every weekday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (on Fridays to 1 p.m.) but we also lend out any volume for home use.

We also want the library to be more than just a nice warehouse full of books. We organise debates with authors, present new books, and join the nation wide „Night with Andersen“ there. We simply use all ways and means to motivate our students to read.

The library is also accessible to Babice residents. We are open for them every Wednesday from 2.00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
