Pedagogical-Psychological
Counselling Centre
At Open Gate we really care about our students. That’s why you will also find an accredited Pedagogical-Psychological Counselling Centre on our premises. It is here primarily for our pupils and their parents or other legal guardians. But the door is always open to all, and you just have to arrange a meeting in advance.
Visits to the counselling centre are usually made on the recommendation of a teacher, but you can also come along without a recommendation. Perhaps just to discuss whether or not your child is ready to start school this year.

The Pedagogical-Psychological Counselling Centre can help you to:
- decide whether your child is ready to start school
- understand why your child does better at some things and worse at others
- find out what your child could study or do in life
- cope with any problematic behaviour, bullying or difficult relationships
