Europass
The Europass Certificate Supplement is a document that accompanies the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Maturita Certificate). It can be useful when applying for further studies, employment, internships, or part-time jobs.
The document relates to the qualification itself and is therefore identical for all graduates of the same study programme. It does not contain the holder’s name, but includes the programme code and title, as well as the school’s details.
Unlike grades and examination results, it provides a written description of the general and professional competencies acquired during the course of study, together with possible career opportunities.
The supplement also states the qualification level according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), making it easier to understand and compare qualifications across different education systems in Europe.
The Europass Certificate Supplement is issued free of charge in Czech and several foreign languages, including English, German, and French.
Please note that the supplement is valid only when presented together with the corresponding Maturita Certificate.
