Valentine’s Day assembly with another special guest

Today’s Assembly took place on Valentine’s Day. At the beginning, we talked about the festival and its meaning. The children had already wished a happy Valentine’s Day to their loved ones – not just their family, but also friends, classmates and even their pets. We talked about how important love is in our lives.

Then we had another guest speaker. This time, we were visited by Slavek Hrzal, the School Ombudsman. He talked about a lot of things. He told us about his work as a presenter on a children’s TV show in the past, about the Gold Amos poll that he started and, of course, about his work as an ombudsman. His message for us was a very good piece of advice: Do things that you enjoy, and once you start something, make sure to finish it.
