Edward grew up in Maryland, United States. As a child and teen, he enjoyed spending time around the water and playing sports, his favorites being ice hockey and lacrosse. During his teens he worked as a counselor at a summer camp, which guided him towards his career in education. In 2016 Edward moved to Prague to start a new chapter in his teaching career and quickly fell in love with the country’s nature and culture.

Experience

Upon graduation from college in 2012, Edward returned home to be an elementary classroom teacher in his hometown. After teaching for two years, he felt a desire to venture from his home and spent a year teaching on the Marshall Islands, before returning to America to teach in South Florida. After spending a year in Florida, Edward again had a desire to venture out to a new place. In 2016, this desire led him to take a position as a classroom English teacher in a school in Prague 6, where he taught from 2016-2023.

Hobbies

During his free time Edward enjoys getting his hiking boots on and exploring the Czech countryside with his wife and their two dogs, Jaku and Loki.
