Alexandra graduated from the Secondary Pedagogical School in Litoměřice, in educational childcare. She has attended children’s summer camps as a junior counselor and later as a camp leader. She has been taking care of children since her early childhood and at the age of 12 she already knew she would be a teacher one day. She fulfilled her dream and has been a practising teacher since 2000. In 2013 she was awarded the Central Bohemian Amos Award.

Experience
After completing her studies at Palacký University in Olomouc, Alexandra started teaching voluntary English language classes for primary school children and taught a home-schooled disabled student. In 2003, she began teaching at the Londýnská Primary School in Prague in the 1st and 2nd levels of the primary school. After maternity leave in 2009, she joined the J. Guth-Jarkovský Grammar School where she taught English. She has been working for Open Gate since 2010 as a primary school teacher at the first level.
Hobbies
Alexandra loves animals of all kinds. She spends her spare time as a volunteer in a shelter for abandoned animals. She owns five cats and one guinea pig. She likes reading, travelling, and taking photos. She goes for walks in the countryside with her daughter and visits exhibitions and the cinema.
