Alena has participated a series of courses and lectures on a variety of topics in the medical, educational, and psychological spheres: urgent first aid, resuscitation, education, behavioural therapy, addictology, family therapy, musicotherapy, art therapy, helping the maltreated and abused, psychosomatics, learning disorders, social help, and more.

Experience

Alena has a lot of medical experience which first began in the Stránčice Children’s Home. She then continued on to the children’s dental clinic at the Motol Hospital Praha, the Kunice kindergarten, and the internal and diabetes clinic in Říčany near Prague. She has been a nurse at Open Gate since 2005. She also works as a nurse at various children’s summer camps and ski camps. She teaches an educational motivation course for patients with diabetes.

Hobbies

Alena likes to read; she also frequents the cinema and theatre productions. She enjoys handiwork, cooking, and spending time with her granddaughters.
